DSC registration on ICE Gate

Convert Simplified Registration into IEC Registration with DSC

 

The simplified Registration Module in ICEGATE is designed to register at the ICEGATE without uploading the Digital Signature Certificate (DSC), PAN verification, document upload to ICEGATE and approval procedure.

 

IEC holders registered under the Simplified Auto Registration category are not permitted to file Customs documents. If IEC holders wants to file customs documents they needs to convert their Simplified Registration into IEC registration with DSC.

 

To convert simplified registration into IEC registration with DSC please follow the following steps on ICE Gate portal -

 

Step-1:

Open the ICE Gate portal by clicking on the below URL-

https://www.icegate.gov.in/

 

Step-2:

Go on “our services” on the main page and click “User Login/Signup”

 

Step-3:

 

Put your username in below window and submit-

 

Step-4:

 

Step-3 will take to your profile page as shown below image, click here on the “Simplified to DSC” option then select port location (you can select all for future aspects) and then click on confirm to submit with DSC along with the required documents (listed in step-5)

 

Step-5:

Update of the registration information like Name, Mobile Number, Scanned copy of License… etc, DSC detail and Click on Confirm button.

Step-6:

Once click on Confirm button as given in Step 5, Following screen will appear which with message “Your Information has been received successfully and you will be intimated by email as soon as your registration approved by competent authority.”

 

Step-7A:

 

If the request is approved by the competent authority, you will receive a confirmation email with login Credentials. Login on ICEGATE with credentials shared in the confirmation email and file the custom documents.

 

Step-7B:

 

If the request approval is in progress following screen will appear.

 

 

Step-8:

 

Documents requirement for DSC registration on ICE Gate

 

Documents required for registration with DSC on the ICE Gate portal

Ø  Copy of IEC code registration

Ø  Class-3 DSC

Ø  Aadhar copy of the person who is having DSC registered

Ø  Board resolution copy for authorized signatory (signed by all directors)

Ø  Any other documents showing after click on confirm button

 

Step-9:

Once all the information is submitted successfully on ICE Gate porta then it will require approval from your local port commissioner which would be through online process but you can request to commissioner to take immediate action on the registration application otherwise in normal ways it will take 48 to 72 hours’ time to get approved.

 

Step-10:

Once your registration application is approved on ICE Gate portal then you will receive “user-id and password” on registered e-mail id.

Now you are ready to use the ICE Gate portal. You can create below activity through your login-

Ø  You can submit any application to ICE Gate which is available online on portal

Ø  You can pay your custom duty directly through your login

Ø  You can generate BOE for your import

Ø  You can request application for multiple incentive scheme governed by Custom authority i.e. RoDTEP, RoSCTL

Ø  You can approve or reject e-scrip transfer request for utilisation from other users

You can transfer your e-scrip for utilisation to other users, etc.
